Je suis né en mer, trois lieues au large. Petite maison blanche, genêt à la porte. Mon père, comme ses aïeux, humble et sans gloire, était traîneur de filets. Cheveux blancs, ma mère aussi travaillait et m’a appris – petite leçon – à tirer les pommes de terre… elle travaillait pour un peu de pain !
