À cinq heures, les gars du Vieux marché vont chasser le lièvre aux Sept-Saints. Au carrefour de Kerminic’hi, Pierre Marie a tiré et l’a manqué. Jaket court à la croix de bois. Au carrefour de Kerloc’hou, Gouriou a tiré, mais le lièvre continue de courir. Le bon chien Tor continue à le suivre. Monsieur Brozec a tiré, mais le lièvre continue sa course. François Le Gall accourt. Calvez le bossu et son propriétaire n’étaient pas armés. Nicol voit venir le lièvre et le tue « dao ».
